Beat by a Del Sol today
I was out running with my wife working on her "Honey Do list" in the beater Aveo and we rolled up on the most sterotypical ricer on the planet. Cap on side ways, A wing that actually stuck up over the roof of the car, J C Whitney body kit. And a Monster tac with shift light on the dash. He gave me a hard look at the light. which was kinda funny in itself cause the kid looked like he was about 110 pounds soaking wet. Well the light turned green and I said to my wife watch this! I beeped the cars horn 3 times real quick and the kid in the honda took off like his ******* was on fire White smoke pooring out of the coffee can exhaust. I was cracking up as I continued on at normal speed. My wife didn't see the humor in it.[

Awesome story! I loved the part about the white smoke pouring out of the coffee can muffler! You should have pulled up next to him again and asked him when was the last time he changed his oil.

On the Del Sol forum you'll read something like this.
"I was out looking for some action today, when some guy thinking he was all bad with his girl pulls up next to me at the light. I had my game face on when the light dropped but he tried to get the jump then honk three times as he sped off. I caught him instantly and by 2nd gear had him covered by 4 lengths. I shut it down after 3rd when I had him by over 15 lenghts!!! yeah this Del Sol is getting fast. I think the car was a GTI or something. HA HA!!!!!"
Okay maybe that's a stretch, but damn this story is funny. Good job on messing with the ricer.
