Default Me vs M3

Everything else BUT turns and anything involving handling. Straight line. Me vs stock 2006 M3. Roll, dig, etc. Discuss.

Btw...there are none around here to race, so I can't just race one and find out....

You got any track times? At first glance, with your mods, I gotta say Cobra....%90 sure anyway.

Well E46 M3's are low 13 second cars with average drivers...

I have aclose friend that owns a03 M3. He went to the track with me this summer and ran a 13.6 @ 103 with a 2.0 60. If it's a track race you'll lose just from inexperience. A roll I'd say you with the mods.

IF you're an AWESOME driver you may get it from a low roll. From a dig their "launch control" would surely eat you alive unless you can really hook. From a high roll, well, with that VANOS system they're wild banshees...333hp and 268ftlbs doesn't sound like much but the tranny is geared perfectly to the mill. Get them rolling and look out. One of my favourite all rounders is the M3...I'd take it over an NSXfaster than a rabbit gets fvcked.

I ran a Z4 ///M A while back from a 70 punch and by 130 I had 1 fender on it. Those things HAUL ***! Now the M3 has a couple hundred pounds on the Z4M so I expect it to be a hair slower.

My WS6 is a stock 6-speed. Maybe this will help? So far this is just ricer-math though. Run at the track and compare posted times on the M3 boards.

hmmm, maybe I'm the only one that thinks he should have more of an advantage from a dig?

the M3 is built around autobahn speeds and the third gear in those things are just as nasty as an LS1's with it's advantage only getting bigger as the the gears roll on, I would say your drag radials coupled to your 3.73's will fair against the launch control better than thetop end... from a roll? maybe it's just my opinion but I say you don't have a prayer... also keep in mind with those 3.73's your 5th comes sooner and against anything german once a stang goes into 5th gear it's all over for the pony unless it has some sort of boost helping it through

anyways, from third gear on I just think the M3 would pull, so IMO you should be ahead from a stop, even if it's slightly

I agree, just keep in mind that a properly driven M3 will do about a 4.8-5.3 0-60.

yeah but dealing with that is alot better than dealing with it's top end [8D]

at least IMO
