Well there might be a issue with the lS1 wright know, it does seem like its picking up slower, the car is salvage title but was fixed and looks great,And we put a new ls1 engine in with 40k about a year ago,

You never know how a race is going to turn out, there are just too many varibles. That said I would not use this race to judge how you will fair agaist other LS1's, this particular car is either not running right or the driver is not driving it very well. Let the whiners start making comments on how the LS1 can never loose............NOW.

Erm...where do I start?

My LS1 car is 1 full second and 11mph faster than my LT1 car was. (14.1 @ 97mph vs 13.1 @ 108mph).

It took a large cam (CC306), headers, stall, gear, etc to get my LT1 to beat stock LS1 cars. Since a stock New Edge stang is a tough machup for a stock LT1 I really don't see where you have much to brag about OR any room to rag on LS1 cars???

As far as 'overrated'...uh... My car was rated 310hp and claimed to run mid to high 13s by GMs own numbers. Calling an LS1 'Overrated' tells me everything I need to know about you. [8D]

I respect a lot of the guys on here so don't take this as a 'Us vs Them' conversation...

You never should've gotten rid of the LT1, then. lol. jk. You could've atleast bought an LS1 powered car. I know you spent way more on that '00 GT than you would've on a Z28 of the same year.
