By the way, i came across a Non-turbo 300ZX Fairlady.
We went to a backroad and went from a dig once, i beat him by only 3 cars at most.
I was a little dissapointed, i'm still getting used to driving tiptronic, i only shift when i hit redline.
Both the Mustang and 350Z can run 14-flat consistently (so i've read), so i'm really excited to see which one 'll win in the end, i'm leaning a little toward my GT.
Race is postponed till wednesday, Just saw the Z was leaking a lot of radiator fluid. Won't have time to get any until wednesday morning.

The non-turbo 300ZX's are mid-high 15 second cars. If you only beat it by 2 cars, your GT is going to run away from it easily.

^ Overdrive is simply a gear. In this case, the 5spd auto in the Mustang, 5th gear is the overdrive (ratio < 1:1). At WOT itshouldn't go into OD until you max out 4th gear.

1) Non-turbo Z32 300ZX's are nowhere near high 15 sec cars, lol. More like mid-high 14 sec.....
eaZy- The '06 Z's give S197's a good run.
OP- I missed the fact that your Stang has 20's. Those are gonna hinder you a bit. Coupled w/ the Z's mods, I'd prolly say a driver's race. What trim model is your Z????

My Z's trim is Grand Touring, with the optional Nismo upgrade package
I can manually turn off the overdrive on my stang so i don't thinkthat it will be an issue.

^ Is your car a 35th Anniversary Edition??? If so, shame it's an auto. The manual 35th's had the 300hp rev-up engine. I'd really like to know the wholeextent of your NISMO parts. It'd really help in determining the outcome. But look at this way, even if your GT beats it, the Z will kill it in the twisty stuff.....
