I never understand why people think this. I raced my friends 2006 350z track when I was stock from 60-120 and I pulled him by 2+ cars each time. We even switched cars and had the same outcome. It was even worse for him from a dig. I can see how the Z might "feel" a little quicker up top, but its just because it has different gearing, its not actually accelerating faster.

the Z is going to pull harder in the top end, but the GT should take it up to about 125-130

1) Non-turbo Z32 300ZX's are nowhere near high 15 sec cars, lol. More like mid-high 14 sec.....

I heard auto hurts the GT when you hit 3rd gear and overdrive kicks in...any validation to that? As far as I'm concerned, this is a coin flip with the 20s.

lol. The twin turbos are mostly low-mid 14 second cars, with some hitting 13's. The non-turbos are low 15's, on a perfect day. 222 crank hp is not going to get a 300zx into the 14's.

Actually, I was a little generous, sorry. But the turbo models have gotten into the 13's stock, and the non-turbo models can get into the high 14's.S0 300ZXTT- high 13's- low 14's. 300ZX N/A- high 14's- low 15's. We wereboth wrong...

My frined has a'93300ZX TTw/upgraded turbosand bolt-ons, that's pretty fast. He runs even w/ my supervisor's LS2 GTO w/ JBA headers/exhaust and Predator tune. The Z is on a really conservative tune, too....
