Ok so earlier i told you about this guy i know with a 2004 mini cooper john works edition with 215 hp.

ok so now this guy is tellng me he tops out that thing at 170 mph top speed, and that get this with 215 hp he runs a 10.9 1/4. WTF, sorry people like this just **** me off. then he is like that what the mini forums say, and i was like you dont have the horse power numbers to justifyA 10.9. unless your sittin on a completly gutted car

One of my best friends has a worked Mini-S and he would be the first one to tell you that your friend is full of crap. I am going to email him your post just so he can get a good laugh!

Full exhaust, alum flywheel, smaller pulley, intake, tune. More than a JW Cooper S (he's laid a few beatings on them). He'll be the first one to tell you that he'd get smoked by an LS1 Vette and the car won't do 170. It's a cool little car though that handles like a go cart.

theres a guy here with a mini cooper S that is also turbocharged, puttin down like 315 at the wheels if i remember correctly. met him at the gas station (gettin 100 octane). he was only running high 11s with that power.

 

mini-S are sick little handling cars with motors that do make some nice power numbers with some work... but 10.9 seems way too fast unless the thing is like 450hp....

 

LIEEE!! lol come on I was in one of those things few months back with mods. It might be able to hang with a s197 gt till about 60, thats if The GT starts in 2nd.

 

10.9 in the 8th.[8D] Maybe when he topped it out he was looking at the kph instead of mph.
