lol. I'm not cocky. And no, silverstang1996, I didn't used to own an early SN-95. I did almost buy one instead of the Z28 though. But, I saved myself about a grand and got a car that'sabout a full second faster in the 1/4, maybe more. Plus I got t-tops and a 6-speed.

**** guys, take it easy on him. i personally love to hear bout people with badass cars that cant drive to save thier lives. he did still win, the kid might have killed it, but mr. 98 v6er still won.

I have a 1998 V6 5spd with a few things, mostly suspension.
I was sitting at a stop light listening to some Against Me waiting for the light to turn green. While I am waiting a 99 SS pulls up. I knew the kid and he is a dumb****. He starts revving it up and sounding real cool.
Well the light turns green and I take off at a low 1800rpm's, didn't squeal or anything. lol I get up to about 60 and wonder how he could have passed me without me even seeing him or how he isn't even at the next stop light he is so fast. I then look in my rear view mirror and he is just taking off from the stop light... He killed it. lmao
I felt a little bit bad for him but then I remembered who it was. He then tried to pull up next to me to race me again but I was done. I didn't want to embarrass him another time, I figured my awesome driving skills didn't need to be put to the test again.

I am well aware of what my car can and can't do... It can drive me from Point A to Point B... That's about it. lol It is slow as hell. I wasn't trying to race the LS1. I know what they are capable of. I would never try to seriously race my car in any way. It doesn't have the power to...

I am pretty sure that he could have still made it to the next stop light before I got half way there. I would definitely hope that his car is faster than mine with 200hp more at the crank. I don't think that he has any performance mods done to it, not for sure though.
