First 1/4 Mile Run....Elevation Question
Heading for my first 1/4 Mile pass in the mustang. The track I'm going to is 5400 ft. above sea level, how much is this going to limit my times since I'm N/A? And will the track correct for this? (Ex: I run a 14.5, but they take sea level into account and change it to 13.5 on the ticket)
Also any estimates on what I'll run?
2000 GT Auto
My mods are:
4.10 FRPP gears
K&N Filter
Bosch performance spark plugs
C&L Plenum
SVT Fuel Pump
Uncatted stock pipe w/ Flowmaster 40's
TransGo Shift Kit
XCall II Tune

No, you'll have to correct it yourself when you gather all the information. As for what you'll run? I think 14.50 was a good guess. Let me know how far off I am.

Go to Accuweather and enter your zipcode/location and then the "forecast" tab>historical weather>past 24 hours and then go to Modulardepot and enter the info and it will correct your ET and MPH to Sea Level Standard.
I would guess low-15's at around 92 mph. You are going to be off roughly 1.4 Seconds and 9 mph at 5400'.
