i went to temple raceway lastnight with hopes of shutting up some of my evo and sti drivin friends. left with my tail between my legs. there was not a singledot tired rwd/fwd carthere lasnight that could grip. i only managed a babied 14.71 at 98. had a 100 trap on my 15 flat run. this is the slowest ive ever been down a 1/4miin my entiretime in a stang.
the one high point is that i was chasing this jackass' modded srt4 down and actually won. he got me by .5 at the 60ft and i won by .03. it was great cuz all night he was bashing on my stang(still got the dealer tag). 14.73 to 14.76 both at 98

not 100% positive on altitude, but my best 60 was 2.5something. it was a good temp but the track was horrible. its one of those ihraso called tracks, just horrid track prep. at the top end its actually got small dips. in the left lane the only reading you get is reaction, 60 and 1/4. i cant wait til i get a chance to go to ennis (tx) or thundervalley (ok) again.

driving lessons you say? ive probably made a few hundred passes down the 1/4 in the past few years. i bet a large sum of cash no street tired rwd/fwd car on this forum can do better than 2.3 at temple raceway. the large group of evos and stis are getting 2.1s at best. the people that have been here awhile say they dropped .75 to 1 second from a theyre back home track.
i go to a ****ty track to probably the worst one in the u.s. no kidding. It is like a dirt track almost i feel your pain but trust me you can cut good times you just need a driver mod and sticky tires
