I like your scenarios lol. I hope its either 1 or 3 because loser pays for gas so I am letting my car get down around the 1/4 mark before the race so its about 40 to fill it up. He told me the stuff on his turbo about the stage 1 and stuff but he does have other mods, probably nothing to add that much hp but still. He also is on street tires and in this other thread i hear they have a hell of a traction problem.

Not sure if it is the same on the 4v motors, but I have a feeling it is, the intake spacer is going to be a waste of money. As for the roller rockers, not sure what all they are going to be good for without a bigger cam. But I'm not 100% sure on that either. Maybe someone else could chime in.
The best thing for you to get before you really get into the modding would be a good shifter, and a good set of tires.

my buddie is pushin 20lbs out of his srt on a Ported stock turbo. he raced an auto Mach froma roll off one of the highways here and said he pulled him. not super hard but a good bit. you do have the torque advantage and the RWD advantage. i think if you get a good jump on him from the launch you should get him. if im not mistaken cant the stock srt's only handle 21lbs MAX on the stock engine?

 

I raced the guy last night. Our first race was from a 40 roll and we were racing to 140. He got me by about 3/4 of a car and it was about the sae from a 60 roll. However, from a dig to 120 i beat him by about a car or a tad less.We both had pretty good launches.I givethe machastronger 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th go to the srt. Either way the race was fun and he showed me his slip from the track and he ran a 13.2 so I think he was for real.

I just ordered my JLT RAI, going to leave my tb and maf alone for now. Hooker coated headers with x pipe are going to be ordered after my next paycheck and then we are going to race again. Should the intake make my car go lean so I'll need a tune?

I think you would be toast if the guy is tuned for it and really running that much boost. Something tells me that he is off if he only pulled you by less than a car from a roll. I think he was lying about the numbers but, who knows. Good job on the dig races. You got him. Keep modding and see where you get!!!
