after lots of different posts i am close to ordering parts, which i am doing tomorrow. which of these options would you do?

i have c&l intake with sct 3 VMP tune, pypes o/r x, pypes violators.

 

I voted for gears but i think the spyder shaft would be a good combo with that.
Wont really give you hp but good for 1/4 mile reduction
Spydershaft $480 from sutton high performance
4.10 gears $230 sutton high performance

 

If your looking for bang for the buck forget that list and get a set of sticky tires. From your list the gears are nice "IF" you can install then yourself. Most people cant and it's not a cheap install.

 

IMO - Gears and shaft will give you best 1/4 reduction... but no HP gain

 

tires should be EVERYONES first mod.

 

gears will help you a lot in your quarter, but you need traction for them... they still help but not to the full potential without good tires... i got 4.10's... i should be mid 13 seconds but i can only get a 2.0 60ft so i barely squeeked a 13.9...

BTW, those are great headers - had them on my s/c'd GT.
