[&:]I think he has you my friend, for the most part integra type Rs are respectably quick, although they Will make that "PPPPPPPPRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" noise louder than the averge muffler , which can aggrivate and throw anyone off because it's so annoying especially if they are next to you.



For my understanding they can't beat a 01-04 mustang GT but they won't lose by that much...I'd say get 2 basic mods and try his *** and try not to let that noise bother you when you race him because they get mind boggling loud...an can throw anyone off the race...damn cheaters lol[:@]

All depends if it it a type R with stock internals or a JDM type R. my friends JDM type R in a 93 hatch ran low 13's at the track and low 12's on spray..

 

Yeah, I think you might want to wait until you get a few mods before you race him. Stock, he won't blow your doors off, but he has you....[8D]

 

He has you. Not by tractor trailers but definitely enough to make sure you know who won/loss that race.

 

What did he have before the swap? Was it a GSR or a LS? Reason I ask is because the the actual type R trannyhas shorter gearing, and if he didn't get the tranny he won't be as quick without it. The LS is geared pretty long, and the GSR is in the middle, but a the R is real short. It works well in the type R because short gearing together with a 9k RPM redline is sweet. If he's on the LS you've got more of a shot.
