It's got a HEMI!

unless 2006- 8 = 1985 in your book
anything else you would like to try and grasp at or are you done?

"dodge needed more than two litres to make around 40 more BHP... not to mention the 8 year old Porsche is still faster, I wouldn't call something like that innovative"
You were talking about your car here right?
You obviously want a pat on the back for owning a old *cough* I mean "classic Porsche.

who's bragging?
where did I say my 911 could smoke a HEMI charger... it could probably pull even with one but I don't own my 911 to race therefore I never once compared the two
I compared the next gen 911 to the HEMI, my gen 911 has a 3.2L engine, I posted pictures because someone asked me about it, we are talking about HEMI powerplants here, not LS1's or your corvette orthe newest 911 turbo (not a hemi base), the only ones bragging in this thread is painfully apparent... due to the fact you are pushing your precious cars in a thread that has nothing to do with them... as what seems to be fairly common with you, so I'm not suprised

Morbid, you seem confused... You don't know whether to "go talk to people who aren't stuck up fanboys"
Or comeback with a new way to try to offend us...oh well do as you wish.
I think it is just ridiculous to brag about a your 911 being faster than much heavier, bonafide sedan.

all stuck up corvette owners talking about their awesomecorvettesaside... the new HEMI's aren't even HEMI's anyways, so it's rather fun to see people make a big deal about a feature the engine doesn't even have

the new 5.7L is not a HEMI.. therefore it's why the name gets on my nerves
what makes me mad is the rednecks who worship the name without knowing anything

Nobody would give a flip if I stared comparing 5.0's to GM's 3.8 Series II.
"They make about the same horsepower, but the sixxer is 71 CI smaller. Therefore the 3.8 is the better motor and the 5.0is wastful."
[8D]
So it doesn't really matter what the Hemi make compared to what some euro motor makes. Call it a "Magnum" if "Hemi" just offends you.

" 5.7 ", "Magnum", "HEMI", "Rice Fryer", it really doesn't matter. Hemi cars/trucks run what they run, no matter what you call them.[8D]

If they made it a "real" hemi that wouldn't be very innovative on their part.

The new and IMPROVED hemi head Pictured in the above post has squish pads to quench the chamber which greatly improves torque and power. Other than those improvements, the valve positions remain the same.[8D]

I think it's funny when I talk tech every now and again and am right about something everyone gets asshurt and reverts to "WHY SHOULD I CARE!" "PFFFT AS LONG AS IT MAKES POWER!'
ok, next time we get into a tech arguement about the new modular 4.6L I will call it an OHV motor and see how well it goes over

lol I feel like I'm dealing with 6th graders
