Is there anyone you know who's kind of cooland they talk **** about their slow car and say it can take a lot of fast cars but they never talk **** to you about your car. And the only reason you don't want to call them out andrace them and put bus lengths on them is because you know they will never talk to you again.

BTW-I'm talking about a stock 5spd 3000GT that's black-looks pretty sick but is slow as hell. I think because he has taken some ricers he thinks he's driving a corvette.

Just want to make sure I'm not the only one.

 

LOL.. I work with a guy that's on the flip side of that coin.. can't stop talking sh** about his 325hp S-14 and how he suppposedly smokes cobra's and termies all day long.. If I thought putting a few bus lengths on him would shut him up I'd definitely do that!! Unfortunately I'm in Iraq at the moment so that kinda quashes that idea.. [:@]

Yeah, one of my buddies kept talking up his old beat to hell 86 Camaro. Carbed 350, blah, blah. Went to the track a grand total of one time and ran a best of 17.2

Another guy I know bought a 1998-ish Grand Prix GTP and asked me one day, "Is 11 point 7 (that is how he said it...) good in the 1/4 mile?" I said yeah that's moving right along for a street car. He said yeah, that's what my car runs at Norwalk. He also went to the track one whole timeto run 14.9x Even that didn't stop him from talking about his awesomely fastcar, so I had to beat him in my beater Sentra before I stopped hearing about his superfast Grand Prix.

There's good news and bad news here.

Bad news-in a yr the 3000gt kid is going for a drag car and getting an S2000 and saving for a turbo. IMO that's not the smartest hp/et making car per dollar move.

More bad news-one of my good friends is saving up for an RSX type-s and getting it pre/about summer time.

Just putting this out there now, I am going torun my friends rsx type-s when I get the chance and run mr 3000gt just to show them what american muscle(don't make fun of my 4.0 please ) can really do. Hopefullythis will convert them and hopefully I can run them pre-turbo so theres no excuses.

Good News-someone I know from high school who is in one ofmy college classes talked to me about my car and said he's gonna trade in his sebring this yr and go american muscle. I told him the best bets for a ton of power are 5.0's, trans ams, or Z28s. Possibly a 99-04 GT if he wants something newer, but their potential is not as high as the other cars. Thank God I am able to convert someone and show them the world of mods!

 

And I have always wondered, how fast is his car? Anyone guess with his mods and an average/good driver? (Example of guess: high 12's, mid 12's, etc.)
