I posted a vid of his car....like I said, it was horrible weather. He was still trapping around what MD trapped and this guy was only cutting 1.6x 60's. He's went 7.4 before. I'm pretty sure he said 14psi though. Not everyone cuts 1.5 60's. Plus MD ran that when it was cool out.

EDIT: I think MD put down 408 or 411 or something...I forget. This guy also hasn't sprayed the car yet. He said he'll be making over 500rwhp on a 35 shot of gas and expects the motor to go bye bye very soon. The tranny has already taken a crap on him once.
I'd say he is bull****ting you about the 14 psi. I cannot see it living at 14 psi for more than a few runs down the track, the stock shortblock just doesn't like that much boost. Not to mention that he should be making way more than 435 RWHP at 14 psi.

I would run 10 PSI on a stock shortblock with a intercooler, but I would start planning on buying a new shortblock the first day I got the blower installed. Even at 10 psi it is only a matter of time, even if it lasts for a year or two. 14 is simply unheard of on a stock shortblock.

I would expect to make about 450 RWHP on a 10 psi intercooled centrifical.

good runs 98LS1, not bad at all. sorry bout the crappy weather. you gotta bring that thing to florida!!!
Thanks man. I hope to get a better day in a couple weeks when my buddies B cam goes in his Fox, then we're gonna go back and run again.

2000GT, I don't know man. I'm just telling you what the guy said. I don't think he'd lie. I'm not positive about the 14psi, I'll have to call Stangpower and find out. I'm sure he said he dyno'd 435rwhp though. Did you get to see the video I have of it? All I know is that he was extremely impressed with muh tree forty six on DR's.

Only dyno'd 367/401 on a weakish 75 shot. I've never had over 700psi when we dyno'd the car. I actually lost 20rwhp with my stall on motor...

Well since it's a dry shot the bottle pressure is going to have alot less of an affect on the HP it puts out. Keep us updated. I can't wait to spray my junk next week, I went 12.5 @ 110mph on sunday, with just a lid,maf/DR's/control arms and panhard bar, should go high 11's

Awesome! Good luck.

It's weird, guys around here say my cars freakish, but then other guys go faster with less done in other parts of the country. IDK, I just can't wait to get back out there.

you live in stateville.. people around you don't count. your car is on par with your mods. Thats it's it's not slow or overly fast. Hit the 1/4 and you will see if you have a massive top end or a failing one like I did

I'm gonna say my top ends fine since I did hit the 90mph mark.

It was just a bad night to run. This guy who won't stop talking trash about my car was there, he has a 306 heads/cam/intake/bolt-on fox on slicks. He has a fast car...he usually runs 7.70's @ 91'ish mph. Best he could muster Thursday night was a 7.97 @ 88mph on a 1.6 short time. I actually got that particular run on video. And to think, he wants to take the launch out of the equation and run from a 15 kick.

I'm starting from 305....I have around a 25% drivetrain loss with the sall. I LOST 20rwhp when I put the stall in, according to the dyno. So that's actually a 62rwhp gain on a 75 shot, with weak bottle pressure. I have all that fixed now.
