So coming home i pull up to a red light on a relatively open road.

I was changing a CD, so i didnt notice a complete ricer pull up next to me. I had three other people in the car, so i wasn't looking for a race.
we both go, and he slams on his gas to the next red light. I just sorta roll up showing him i dont want to race.
He then starts HONKING at me. So now i was getting a little annoyed, and i rev my engine.

we were both making a left turn onto a 2 lane street, and he was on the inside.
well the light turns green he goes around that turn really fast.
At this point i wanted to show him that i could beat him, and i go around the turn relatively fast as well (not too fast since i didn't want to spin out of control, but fast enough to make my tires start to squeal.)

He had about two car length in front of me when i floored it,
I caught up to that guy fast as hell though.

When i pulled up next to him i gave him a big smile and waved goodbye. He looked so angry i cant even describe it.

It was also funny, since 2 of the 3 people in my car were pretty attractive girls that were laughing at him

all and all it was a fun race, but i learned to never start a race on a turn when you're driving a mustang [:-]

but after all of it my car told me I only had 20 miles left of gas. That doesnt really make since, because i dont remember it getting that low.
I thought i was around the quarter mark, but i could be just paranoid since i know its a common mustang issue.
I turned my car on and off and it remained saying 18 miles till empty.[:@]
not sure what to do about that...

 

Good kill.Be careful racing around turns. Your car might be able to handle it but lesser cars will drift into your lane before you know it...

yea i was at a light making a left to get on an interstate, and i didnt even see this guy next to me in a turboed little R32. the light changed and he flies up next to me and gives a quick rev like come on, he stomps it on the exit ramp and i stomped mine and we all know the fox bodies suck on exit ramps anyways. man i almost spun into the guard rail and totaled my s***, and by the time i got traction back that little bastard was gone.

 

That's the problem with Palmdale bro. To many ricers that think their cars are faster than they really are. Plus since they closed LACR you can't legally prove their car isn't half what they say it is.
