FOCUS ZX3

I was just saying, no offense to the OP but I doubt the 96 will cover the cost of the focus, so most likely he'll be spending a few thousand extra to get the focus, why not just hang on to the mustang and buy a 1000-1500 dollar beater honda civic for every day commutes. That way you save a little cash and get to have the mustang.

The cost of the insurance and maintenance for the second car and the purchase price probably won't even out for the extra gas the Mustangwould usefor a couple of years. I've been down that road before. If you're garaging your car for the winter and need a winter beater that's one thing, but for a daily driver to save gas money, its just a waste.
The cost of insurance on a 1500 dollar civic? All you'd need is liability and if your record is good that can be had for under $1000 dollars a year. After that all it needs is an oil change every three months and your good to go. How is that too expensive, especially when considering he'll have to drop extra cash for the focus, I think for about 2500 bucks for everything I'd rather just drive a beater civic and have the mustang for the fun.
