You really shouldn't have any problems as long as he's stock. Just go from a dig. If he just got the car, I guaruntee he won't be able to launch worth a crap. LT1's have too much torque at such a low rpm. It takes a lot of practice to get used to. I did a weak launch earlier and produced a pretty big smoke show through 2nd. Man, I can't wait to get some new rims and wider tires. lol

I think the gears and the offroad exhaust would be enough to wake your car up to his level. Should be a paint on pain run considering equal drivers. Anything above 100mph and he'll walk away though...I didn't notice headers in your mod list, you might want to consider some. Oh, and don't race from a roll, you'll more than likely lose based on torque.

And I don't think theres any way in HELL an LS1 only dynos 15 more horses than an LT1. It's absolutely no comparison. You got this one. Launch softly cuz he'll go up in smoke, then shift like you're trying tobreak that damn shifter through the floor.

The LT1 dyno archive. On the first page, there's even a couple autos that put down 25X rwhp stock. There's also a 96 WS6 6speed that put down 286rwhp with nothing but a catback.
