Default Beat a Scion

On my way back from playing the one armed bandits with my girlfriend at the local Indian Casino, I was on 19th Ave. in San Francisco in my Mustangand I pulled up along side a Scion Tc with a GReddy licence plate frame and an aftermarket exhaust...The light turns green and these two guys (late teens) gun it and take off saying something out the window like they're hot ****..The light ahead turns red and this time I was ready for them....I gave them the look at the light that it was on when the light goes green......I gave them every handicap being that my TC was on, AC was on, and it's an automatic..lol

On green we both hit it...It seems we were both even until about 4000rpms in first gear when I started to pull. Once I shifted up into second I took it up to 55mph and had a solid car length onthem(meaning there was a car length between my rear bumper and his front bumper)....Since I was smoking them by that point there was no need for me to go beyond 55mph on a surface street (especially in San Francisco were its really conjested)...After I let off and they passed me, I did'nt hear a peep out of them...lol

Just straight faces looking straight..lol

Nice kill man. Atleast he didnt have some ridiculous looking bodykit or a fart can on there with NOS stickers, but they shouldnt have been yelling out the window. Damn kids make so many cars look bad.

Nice kill. And x2 on what 1BAD3V said. On a side note, even though they're rather slow, and my old Z24 walked a few lightly modified ones, I still like those cars. I like the look of them and the stock wheels they have look pretty nice too.

Yeah they actually wouldnt be that bad of a DD. Decent power, decent looks and a pretty nice aftermarket, which is always what I like to see, LOL. I think they are in the mid 15's stock with a good driver and I've seen a few in the 14's with basic bolt ons.

Sounds about right. I had an intake/catback TC neck and neck with my Z24, on the highway. We had to shut down at around 95 or so, because of traffic. But, I think he was about to edge me out.

I'm not to sure about their top end, I've only seen a few run from like 0 to 70 or so. The Wife test drove one, but wasnt too excited about the performance compared to either one of our GT's or her Celica GTS she used to have, LOL.

If I was racing that Scion in my DD, then I would have to give the Scion a SLIGHT edge..
