How to launch with DR's?
I don't get traction in 1st or 2nd. First as soon as I hit the gas the tires sping right to the red line I shift into second and the keeping spinning but at that point at least I am starting to move forward.

His sig time indicates a stock car time.
I usually slip it around 4500-5000. Pretty sure dumping it is harder on the rear end than a higher slip. Went 1.7 with just BFG drags(stock suspension) so it seems to be pretty effective.

My question is, how in the hell did you get any traction at all being blown and on street tires???

I have 275-40-17 MTs ET drag radials and I go to the ****tiest 1/8 mile track you can imagine and just doing a simple burnout, not powerbraking, I can can dump the clutch at 5k, so you could do the same. I suggest doing a powerbrake to get the tires nice and hot.
you've dumped a lotta mods in between track visits huh?? Looks like you should run some good times. As far as for advice, none from me. My best 60' is a 2.35, so im just saying good luck

Drop the pressure to around 16-18 psi, do a 2nd gear burnout in the water box, power out of the box (don't stop the burnout in the water otherwise you just wasted tread), and then here's where you may need a few tries:
my method is the "try and see what the track will hold" way.
Bring the R's up to around 5k and sidestep the clutch. Either you will annihilate the tires or on a gluestrip track you'll launch that thing like an animal out of the hole.
If can't get it to hook right away just bring the R's down, like 300-500 at a time and keep sidestepping the clutch until feel a fairly decent hook without spinning too much. If you need too then ride the clutch out of the hole and pedal as necessary.
Then again don't listen to me. I trapped 116 and only went 12.40's [
