a GTP is a poor persons performance car and a great grocery getter... nothing more
stock for stock it is slower than a modular 2V from a dig, 40 roll, 60 roll, 80 roll, 100 roll, 120 roll and so on... not too impressive coming from a forced induction 3.8L engine

In their defense, their not suppposed to be really really fast from the factory. But as we all know, simple mods and they really improve. Mid to high 13's is easy with small work.

even after a simple pulley swapwith a few months of spirited driving youwill get a slipping transmission grasping for the right gears
when my Lincoln LS would stomp outthe OP's carstock for stock I'd say it leaves something to be desired somewhere
the SN95 V6 is the slowest piece that ever rolled off a mustang assembly line, yet it looked like he only put about 3-4 cars on it CONGRADULATIONS!!!^$!%&

if rebuilding the stock transmission numerous times is your kinda thing
Another kid I met said his Grand Am blew up when it performed a powershift into 1st at about 50 mph.
So, I suppose that the video not having the car blow up, was indeed for GTP nation.
