meh, in my case I would expect the C6 Z06 to put about 10+ lengths on a bolt on 2V... espessially to 150MPH from a roll [8D]
it's kinda why I used the example.... this GTP only putting 4 lengths is not a big feat given the competition
the biggest misconception with these GTP's is they are at their strong point from a dig, they really wind up and go down low, even with the FWD
from a roll they start losing their down low power and lose steam... I think stock ones die out at around 80MPH

Less than that, my car falls on its face around 80km/h[8D]
Lots of low end torque though, there is practically no lag at all in the blower

Dude, he trainwrecked that Mustang. Especially in the first video.
That's hard to argue. The thing he should really be asking himself is whether he's pleased with beating a car that slow.
I'm gonna go make a video of my GT racing my friends Grand Am GT. Post it up for Mustang Nation.

I think is was on this forum, I asked why the hell does everyone in a pontiac try to race me? In central IL this is exactly what I see: Grand Prix GTs or god forbid a GTP trying to race anything that moves, esp. mustangs.
Two thoughts:
1. What the hell is GM/dealer/forums telling these people?! Sir, you have just bought a full onrace car, go get em'.
2.Ithink Grand ***** not Grand Prixis a more fitting name.

FWIW a stock GTP is capable of high 14s with the fastest ones stock pulling mid 14s (I believe I've heard rumor of a low 14 pass but know knows)... Prior to the New Edge Mustang coming out in 99 they were nothing to laugh at for a stock Stang owner. With a few mods they are capable of matching a new edge and obviously (as posted here) they can be put into the 12s with some money invested. Nothing to laugh at IMHO. I don't fully understand that hate against them but then again I am a general car guy and a 2/4 door grand prix with a 3.8L running 14s stock to me is damn sweet.
