yes my car is stock so i knew it was coming but it wasnt really my fault

im going down th road to the beach

about an 1/8 of a mile till i get to the actual causeway and i see a nissan 300sx(i think)
wasnt planning on racing just thought id see how fast id go
pass the guy in the 300 and he gets on it
im in 5th gear going about 70
he hasnt caught up then we hit the bridge
were my sixer shows why its not a race car
i forgot to down shift and he blew by me

my first loss
but its not that bad it would have been more fun on flat ground

Ummm.... You should have downshifted? Don't worry I forget to downshift when passing people from time to time, I don't really need to downshift to pass though in my mach 1 . You don't want to lose many races
A.you shouldn'trace, or
B. youshould invest in forced induction, preferably a turbocharger [8D]

what have you been racing, old 1990's civics or something? a v6 stang won't get too far when it concerns winning races, atleast real races in my eyes

I'd be careful downshifting at higher speeds like that.

i was racing a z28 one time and wasn't thinking and downshifted at about 80 and thought i was gonna f up my car

no i just havnt been racing cause i know my car is stock and slow

ive raced my buddies tacoma , a stupid civic( i smoked him buslengths) and my friends miata

and coming up my freinds new 87 rx-7 w/ 85,000 miles on it
its the same guy who had the miata

they didn't make a 300sx, there is a 300ZX and a 200sx. i'm guessing that it was the 300ZX though, because a 200sx is slow

yeah it was the 300zx i wasnt really sure on the letters, i kinda got blown so i didnt have a chance to look
