Default kill: GTO

I was driving along and an (04?) coupe revs as he passes me. I follow him, pull up along side. We go from a roll (which is good cause my tires suck right now). Gave me a thumbs up through his sun roof for the win. Guy seemed cool.

Nice. Not very descriptive, but nice. Have you ran your car at the track? Dyno?

havn't dont either yet. My car was 327 rwhp/341 torque with just the supercharger. I've since got x-pipe, catback, densecharger CAI w/ k&n filter, lightning 90mm maf, 42# injectors, 75mm TB, aviator fuel pump and I've thrown waterwetter in the intercooler resovoir since that dyno. Who knows what numbers i'm at now or what i'll be pushing with a good tune. I'm still planning on optimum(mid) length headers, and a pulley swap for another 2lb of boost before the next tune. I am, however, still on 3.27 gears. Those are getting done (3.90)s the day of the tune. Goal is to get into the high-mid 11s in the 1/4 on DRs which would be pretty good for a full weight vert. Don't want a roll bar so I'm not gonna push it below 11.5

I'm becoming more and more impressed with the GTOs lately. I saw one at a drifting competition this weekend and it really just stomped the competition. Of course it had the IRS swapped out for a posi and some serious weight reduction (not to mention a hell of a wing along, plexiglass aerodymanic bits and some serious brake cooling ducts). Regardless, this guy put all of the foreign cars to shame.

Pretty sure you need a roll bar now. It's 13.99 or faster for verts.

I could be wrong, but I would check.

Cobra verts are faster than that from the factory. There is no way that could be right.

that really really sucks. I have a light bar. Maybe they'll mistake it for a roll bar? I'm almost certain my car can go under 14 right now.
