So please inform us...what does that rolling abortion run in the 1/4?
It wasn't built to run the 1/4 mile......
excuses are like ******** junior...and "it wasnt made to run the quarter" is about as lame of an excuse as it gets.

come on back when you have more proof than some pictures of pretty, sparkling engines things...

do you drive something that will keep up, or are you just nutswinging on someone elses car?

You're an idiot. And who the hell are you calling junior? Wow, you're almost a year older, congratulations!!

Truth be told, quarter mile racing is just about as lame as you can get... yes it does take some skill, but nowhere close to the amount of an open road course or similar...

No I don't have anything that will keep up. I have a DD that will do 155 and can run mid 13's... wow... My fun car is a '66 mustang with a 347 stroker and spray... no I haven't taken it to the track and yes, it probably can run 11's once it's finished.... who cares...

All you Mustang Fanboys are just hating on something that doesn't fit in with the "American" style, when in fact that car would be worshipped in several other countries....

No I don't know the owner personally, but I have met him and know the effort put in his car.... just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean it shouldn't be respected for what it is....

nah.. you started showing off a car that isn't even yours and got mad when people called it fugly. then you assumed it was the fastest thing on the planet saying it could take probably anybody. that thing looks like some straight up doodoo. i showed it to my stepbrother, who is in to imports and shat, and even he agreed. nasty color scheme and way too much bling.

I fail to see why you're getting so defensive. You posted a car, that you don't own, with a gay body kit, and a bunch of polished crap under the hood, in the "STREET AND STRIP" section of a Mustang Forum. You didn't expect to get called out on it?

In case you missed all the other clues, this is the Drag Racing section of the forum. You posted this pile, then said Drag Racing was lame. And we're a bunch of Fanboys?

One, I didn't realize I posted in the Street/Strip section, so I can see where all this is coming from, and for that I appologize... I just usually check today's posts... And I read into just talking about the potential of cars... and RX7 was listed.

Either way, I could care less.

My friend has a 300zx TT, he's been trying desperately to get it to run right... every time he thinks it's done, something else breaks. Hopefully he'll have it fixed and done soon.

These cars are all nice and come TT stock, but are fairly expensive and the age is taking it's toll on these cars.

my dad and i own a 1995 VR-4, and we're pretty frequent on the US3S forums, so i think its appropirate that i chime in here. ours is currently laying down a lil over 600hp at the wheels and a lil over 650ft-lbs at the wheels. these is barely an aftermarket for the cars, and the only models that arent a complete waste of money is the VR-4. 3SX Performace, Supercar Engineering, and DragonRacing are the main supporters for the aftermarket. also, the cars are plaqued with a few problems, the most noticable is the lifter tick coming from the top of the motors. however this was solved in 1999 from the factoryand can be fixed with the others for about $1200. others include the electric sunroof motors burning out of yearly basis. another issue was the factory intercooler piping was easy to blow apart at speeds of about 80mph and above. from the factory that respond to bolt ons about as well as 2v mustangs do, but after a turbo swap and an intercooler upgrade (about $2500 for 3SX Executioners and DN intercooler and piping), then you'll see a massive response from the car. the early cars, 1990-1992.5 had a very weak 5-speed AWD tranny and 2 bolt main. 1992.5 years got a 4 bolt main and in 1994, the VR-4 got a 6-speed getrag AWD tranny. and those things are durable as hell. the only tranny upgrades that are necessary for a 600+hp vehicle is a stainless steel transfer case and transmission case. the active aero, active suspension, and active exhaust are just dead weight and are eventually removed by Mistubishi in the 1997, 1998, and 1999 model years. the 1999 VR-4 is the most coveted of all the years, and the fastest. but they are MANY 600-800hp VR-4s running around, and a few 1000+hp, but not a lot over 800hp range due to driveability and reliability issues. what else do ya'll wanna know?
