Oh, and since ppl in here are throwing dyno #'s around that a certain advantage in horsepower will carry the day...See what happens to these two Terminators (640rwhp and a 680rwhp) get handled by a 450rwhp C6..........These two are the epitamy of the term "dyno queen"...lol

i could not see the ETs so its hard to know for sure which car is faster.... but obvioulslly the Silver Cobra needs a driver mod. The Vette left him hard in those runs.

The blue Cobra did a bit better. but IMO running 11.6 in that car seems slow. I was at the track with a 2.2 Cobra ran 9.98 & 9.94 @ 141. I dont know the HP on the car but its in the 600 area.

Cobras are a lot like Supras... high dyno numbers, but most of the owners just want that. They don't put the practice time in, nor money into the suspension. And don't have the ability to get the power to the floor... so really, it doesn't surprise me.

 

+1, well said...There is no doubt that those Cobra's would have torn that Vette a new one had these races been from a roll...600+ whp is alot of power to tame on alaunch out of the hole....Even gifted drivers would have issues...
