i have a freind with a 00-01 grand am/prix gt

he kinda wants to race but he thinks hes gonna get his but kicked

is that right vs. my car in sig

i killed a grand am on the highway last week, rolled at about 55 then when i downshifted to 4th i destoyed em....but i have a GT..lol...but hey if i was u id race him from the line, but id put money on u winning having manual trans!

 

GP/GA GT...looking at mid 15s (perfect) to high 15s... not sure what you would run but I think it's goign to be close.

well which is it a grand am or a grand prix?



The grand prix gt's with the 3.8 make almost 200 hp so I would say it would be close with a new edge 6er, the grand ams only make around 170is so you could probably take one....but it might be closer than you think

i've had a grand am 4 door 2000 and 2003 (drunk driver killed my 2000).. the '00 was a 4cyl but had some decent get up and go.. the '03 was v6 and felt decently quick, even for a 4 door.. even then I was sure a v6 mustang would beat either of those cars.. however, there are 2door grand am GTs and Grand Prix GTs that can scoot pretty well and might give you a run for your money.. and if its one of those I might actually bet on the pontiac, close though.

 

back when my friends V6 New Edge was stock (exhaust thats it) he raced a Grand Am GT (4 people in the Grand AM) and they pulled on us...go from a stop and you should be able to pull on him...

im taking out my spare stuff i know it doesnt do much but its better than nothing

and after i get my super im doing fiber glass 1/4 pannels and hood
so that should reduce somemore
