something was a little fishy about this car... it looked like a newer E series all decked out with the badges, rear insert and dual exhaustetc etc

but it diddn't have an E55 badge... all it had was a newer"older"AMG badge towards the left rear, and it diddn't have the quad exhaust likethe newerE55 was supposed to... it just had one beefy exhaust on either side

also, as far asI knew the AMG badge was towards the right on any AMG modeland the older E55's had the older plain looking AMG badges(I have neighbors with a few AMG's so I'm familiar with the cars)

between you and me I know it wasn't even the non supercharged version, just because it should be a drivers race between a non supercharged E55 AMG and myself....either way the douche had AMG shining on the back so whatever

it took place onthe highway coming back from a checkup for my TB test


coming up on this black sedan cruising at about 70MPH... when I start to inch by him we look at each other and all of the sudden he floors it

I have to go off of his reaction and stomp it... he gets maybe ahalf carbefore I stop the pull and start to suck him back in, by 120 I let off and I had about 3-4 cars

as I apply the brakes and get down to cruising speed he tailgates me for about a mile... then when there is no cars around he makes his move for the (DA DA DA!!!) ricer flyby... as soon as he merges I stomp it and he breaks even with me before I stop the pull and start putting lengths, by 125MPH I would say about4car length

now I'm interested and I missed my exit.... he then tries 2 flybyes in the same manner in which I shut down before I get bored and headed home

if I had to take a guess it should have been a badged 2005+E350

 

I heard that AMG badges add like 150hp.

 

The E350's are turds Morbid, you should put buses on them....My guess is it's the E500 (with the phony badges of course)..

 

I wasn't aware they were offering the E500's in the newer trim... if they are that would be a closer guess

with the way I sucked him in though if it was a fair race it would have been buses... and 4 lengths is a BIG margin too

figure at the track I lost to a slicked and stalledbolt onLS1 vette by about 5-6 lengths and he ran a 12.00 @ 114MPH to my 13.7 @ 104MPH

and newer 350's trap at around 98MPH... so that's the only reason I guessed E350


EDIT: after doing some reasearch on the 2004ish E500's that could have possibly been it as well

I don't understand why people put badges on their cars like that. It's embarrassing. I have no problem with body kits and exterior mods, but don't call your car something it isn't.
