Coming home from eating once again I got into a race on the highway. This guy was hauling some *** cause he came up on me quick. Got beside him doing about 80 so I dropped to 3rd. I punched it and let off to et him know what I wanted and then he down shifted and punched it so I punched it to. He got the jump but I was steadily inching away and then I hit 4th and started pulling more. I think its a 06 it could be a 07. I know the guy but im not sure mods. Sounded like it had some mufflers probably cai, and possibly a little more.

I hate these highway rolls but you gotta take what you can get right? I actually got to race a lightning with a 4lb lower and tuned not to long ago from a 30 roll. Pulled him hard in 1st and he couldnt make up for the 2+ cars I had on him from there.

great kill, i was wondering how to diferentiate 05 Z vs 06 Z without opening the hood [&:]

 

i think the 05 and 06's are the same,. it's the 07's and later models that came with a slightly more powerful engine.

The Z probably had some minor bolt-ons if you didnt walk him hard with your mods.

 

He said that i got faster since the first time we ran but I dont remember the first time. lol

Unless he was the guy that came cruising up on me a long time ago and when he came by me he wasnt slowing down so I down shifted and i punched when he was beside me and he was all ready going for it and he was inching away from me. Unfair race but he was still pulling and I was stock then. [:@]
