the youtube king strike again

 

Nathan Kaleta, who is a buddy of mine, has a Honda 450R quad that puts down 56wrhp. Its geared for 80 miles an hour. The past couple of years, hes raced the pikes peak international hill climb. Last year, he came in fourth in his class.

His quad is absolutely sick.

 

I remember years ago in the street races, there was a squad of guys in Banshees out there. Those things were fast as sh*t......&lt\\;br&gt\\;&lt\\;br&gt\\;It was a long two lane road that was hardly ever used, which is hard to find in Miami\\; by a large garbage dump. There were two lanes, with grass on either side leading to a large field used for farming on one side, and a canal for most of the quarter mile (which was marked) until it turned off away from the street. Cars would line up to race, and those crazy f*ckers would take off behind the cars racing (all fast cars\\; you didn’t want to get laughed at out there) and pass them on the grass! They would top out halfway down the quarter mile, and the cars would start catching them, but not before the 1/4 was over. The Banshees were obviously modded, but this was in the early to mid 90’s. I can only imagine what someone can do with one of those monsters today. &lt\\;br&gt\\;

My cousin's modded YFZ450 is pretty damn fast. I want to race it with my car sometime, but, he'll probably end up getting rid of it before I get a chance. After riding it, I'm fairly sure it'd slaughter me until about 90. Because it probably wouldn't do much over that.
