RE: 95 Civic
Nice. Always good to embarrass those guys when their girl is with em. I did that same thing to an STI a couple weeks ago. He also had his girl in his car with him. Funny thing was that when I looked over at him at the light he laughed at me, light turned green and as soon as I finally hooked up I stomped him good. AfterI hit the brakes for him tocatch up he pulled the classictry and drive away real fast so I don't get to getlaughedat move weavin in and out of the few cars we caught up to. Good stuff good stuff. Stupid honda guys are tough to come by now days though. Most now finally know that they are slow and don't go looking for races, at least not around here anyway.

RE: 95 Civic
just to let u know a b16 only makes 160hp at like 6k rpm i had a friend with a 93 crx with one and i beat him in my 4 door 90 civic with a zc motor which is the same as a D16 or ur typical 1.6l si motor with a few more hourses likie 130hp, but it makes 130 at 3k rpm. im pissed about this civic hatch with the gsr b18 swap couldnt pull on him. if i remeber though a b18 makes over 200hp. and my 86 is 200hp at stock with 287ftlbs. but yea the b16 is a dog motor with no torque

RE: 95 Civic
Yea a B16 isn't that great. It is basicly the smallest of the DOHC motors. If you really want a honda to beat go after one with a K20 or K24 in it. They make over 200hp pretty easy with those motors.

RE: 95 Civic
Smallest in displacement yes but not in power. The D series is the base model, sh*ttiest motor they make. They are SOHC while the B,H, and K are DOHC. I spanked my buddies B swapped hatch in my wifes 98 sixer. The only thing they have going for they is the weight of their wind up toys. One of the biggest reasons they like the CRX so much.

RE: 95 Civic
I would hope you stomp on a b16 civic. Even on my all mighty k20(according to the honda guys) the head bolts require more torque than the engine makes. A b16 is lucky to see torque numbers in the triple digits.
