your losing a lot of power due to over heating, get a new thermostat, flush the radiator and fill with water and add water wetter, check your head gaskets, make sure no cracks, change your plugs and oil then give em another go.

ok thanks,i hope its not a head gasket,i dont have this problem when its cooler out,only when its real hot out. yesterday it was in the high 90's and it would run hotter than usual and overheat if i beat on it. then later it rained and it cooled down and it was running at normal temp.

Thermostat and water pumps are pretty easy to change on these cars, do your fluid as well
