who knows though, he could have just thrown a cam in there, but most guys at that point port their heads/blower throw in an intercoller

yada yada yada

then blow their trannys up 25 km's later

a friend of mine had a GTP with pulley/intake/exaust/cam work and he was 13.4's@108ish
yeah, he had a pully, that's why he was pushing 15PSI

my best so far is 13.4 @ 104MPH on a 2.2 60ft, diddn't slip at all on this run, but I did hear him squeeling

it was nice to run into a worked one running a smaller pully and internal work, but inside I was expecting a better run :-/
I though the LS2 GTO's trapped higher than that. Is that due to the stock auto shifting poorly?

I thought they trapped higher too, I'm hoping it's because of the stock auto... I do know M6's can grab 107-108MPH pretty easily, the M6's have a better top end than the A4's

I'm sure that's the reason. I bet you will be trapping much higher with the tune. But then again, the summer is a lousy time to go to the track. [&:] Even though, I still want to go again and soon.

all things being equal I'd take the 335i over my GTO [8D]

with those vishnu goodies I bet you have a mid 12 second car

Thanks. The V3 tune with intake and catback puts down about 365/370.I reallymiss v8 sound though. Trying to upload a stock vs V3 tune with intake dyno. Problem is max on pump gas is about 390/390 with full catless exhaust, then the little stockturbos are about maxed out safely. Still fun enough for a daily driver.

Happy motoring.

My friends LS2 A4 trapped 104 ~ 105 last time out with his tune (no CAI)... I was only tapping 105 ~ 106 that day (not sure of the DA but it wasn't the greatest...)

Good run morbid. I too would think it'd been a little tighter with his given mods, but......like you and others said, the car was probably ragged out and on its last leg.

Not to mention you have a pretty quick car yourself, stock or not. Mighta had something to do with it
