Me and some buddies went out Friday night to the local crap track. Weather was pretty miserable. 80s and humid as hell.


I was a little gun-shy on launching, since she went haywire last time( Nitrous backfire). I launched at 4k, and pulled a 1.56 and a 1.52. I'm ready to drop it off the limiter and see how far down in the 1.4x's I can get. I pulled a 1.495 and 1.497 the time before. The STOCK T-45 was better than ever! Traps were down 3-4mph from runs in cooler weather. I CAN"T WAIT FOR OCTOBER! [8D]

Ran a new personal best of 7.117@96.42 and backed that up with a 7.127@97.31

Nice runs man, I wonder which one of us is going to be in 6's first? We're both really close. I think the cool fall air will do it for us.

 

Thanks alot guys! I am wanting the car to run 6's in this heat, so I can have a 6sec car in any weather. I'm not sure if that's gonna happen, but I'm sure as hell gonna try.

Congrats on your runs also. With your power level (which is still great for an N/A car) I'm amazed we are running so close. You must have your car "set-up" right. Plus I need an Auto

I don't want to jinx myself, but I am really hoping to hit the 6's this summer as well, I still have a junk tune in the car, my A/F is not right nad my injectors are runing at 115% at WOT. I have a feeling the car is making around 400 rwhp right now, the key is the big stall IMO, although you are doing it with a 5 speed and out 60 footing me by a couple tenths. I am thinking a 1.4x 60 foot would get me darn close to a 6.9x. What are spraying at it now and can you up it my 25 hp? I still have a few little thins to do to mine to get me a few more HP.
