The gsxr 1k is a bad dude. It's to much bike for me though. I like how the 600s handle but man do those liter bikes haul major *** in a straight line.

The car was stout to say the least. It was bar far the best looking/running Terminator I have seen. It was so loud that my ears were still ringing this morning from when he passed me.
It is definitely faster than I ever needed, so I sold it. Now looking for a good GSXR-600 or a 750.

I walked a bike a couple weekends ago....I assume it was a 600cc....I was surprised because it wasn't even close. From a light I took off easy in 1st to see if he was gonna take off and sure enough he did. From there I took off and I was 6-7 cars by the time I hit 60mph, then slowed down. Guy turned at the next possible turn. Bike must have been a POS.

No way
a 1300cc "sport" bike that'll run a mid-high 9 second quarter mile at 150+mph...there aren't very many street cars out there that can touch them.

That was most likely a 250. The quickest one (stock) I know of is the new '08 Ninja 250r which might be able to click off a mid 14@93 with a good rider in good weather.

Ya, bikes are far from unstopable. Dont get me wrong, a stock 600cc bike is fast as hellbut there are cars out there that can beat them. In the twisties a car wont keep up but in a straight line its very possible.

I have a buddy with a TT C5Z that walks 1000cc bikes all day. It's funny as hell to see the look on their face when they get beat by a car. ha ha

If the car is set up it will beat the bike through the twists as well. 4 tires compared to 2.
I read article about that years ago and it stated the same thing. They tested a Formula 1 car against one of those MotoGP bikes (I think).
