oook so for the past few mon ths i havnt had my licence but because im rather stupid i decided to drive without it. over the past few months i have run into so many srt4s i cant even count on my hands. they have all tried to race me but i couldnt do anything because i didnt have my Lsssssss. finally i get my licence back and last night i ran into one of them on the highway. we go from a 50 roll. im in 3rd. we beep 3 times and hes right next to me till i hit 4th. when i grab 4th i slowly pulled away till about 120 then let off. car deffinatly had exhaust and a nice sounding bov. i repect the crap out of the srt4s, they are very fast cars but all the kids around here that drive them are tool bags! run was off the juice obviously.

 

Sounds like you'll be keeping that license atleast 2-3 more hoursof driving like that.

Did you lose your license from traffic violations? (I just assumed you did)

I'm not all against street racing but.. if you are in that much trouble you've got to figure out what is more important.

i lost it because i didnt pay a drinking ticket. i dont think ALL srt4 drivers are tools, just the young kids(like myself) around here haha. hopefully i will b able to keep it for a while tho

 

SRT4 aint **** in lower altitude areas. They have such a huge advantage in high altitudes with the FI. I guess thats how the rumors got started that they are FAST. I beat one in the 60 foot in my 97 GT AUTO and then kept even half way down the track and he had about a car and a half on me at the end. racing from a roll is a joke and not even a race in my book and thats the only way the srt4 drivers want to run. Ive always hated those cars , they need a freaking turbo to keep up with the v8s.

 

well, they need to have some sort of power adder cuz a 2.4 liters is not gonna keep up with a V8 dont u think. Is like saying V8 need huge displacement engines to even hang with Turbo SRTs [8D]j/k In stock form they arent that fast

 

I have ragged on em' a little myself before.They have serious mod potential and can surprise you at the moment you need it least.i wonder if any Police are using them as bait to race cars as they would be perfect for that.I was actually sorry to see them go.I'm thinking when they were released the price was $20,000?That gives a lot of room for mods and a lot of bang for the buck!Nice kill,Hope you don't catch a modded one.

 

So you need to be in a low altitude to keep up with an SRT-4? I can just see it,"Ifit was at 0ft above sea level I would have raped you!" haa! You beat a FWD car in the 60 foot, and he overtook you in the end, and your calling him slow? If you don't want to race from a roll, then don't, but don't think that roll racing is just for FWD vehicles. I've had a few friends of mine in EVOs and WRXs complain about guys in mustangs and other RWD cars wanting to go from a roll with them. If you have a fast car, it shouldn't matter weather you go from a dig or a roll. Just because you can get a killer launch doesn't nessisarily mean your car is fast. The WRX won, but if they had gone another 10 ft the supra would have won. Now who has the faster car? The WRX because it won the 1/4, or the supra because it would have destroyed the wrx had they been going any farther?
