street tires just couldn't stop spin. How do u guys think i would have ran with drag radials? its an auto to no driver error.

Don't treat the gas pedal like an on/off switch. Hold it part throttle until you get traction, then get it to the floor as quickly as you can without spinning the tires. It takes practice.

Your 60' is horrible. I can say that because I've run just as bad. I had a run where my 60' was 2.544. That got me a 12.695 at 123.33. That's just awful. I hammered the gas pedal and paid the price. I'm on street tires too.

yea i know my 60ft is crap but i hear if you knock time off your 60ft u can double it and subtract from your 1/4 et.

wow damn my stock car is running better et's and 60 ft's then ur blown stang. Deffinatly not right. you need to work on feather the clutch more on the launch to keep from dumping it and spinning. also heat those tires good before staging if you dont mind burning your money away. But with feathering the clutch right and not stomping the gas you should keep tire spin down and hopefully lower those 60ft.
