Default is300 killed

A buddy of mine picked up an '01 is300 (2jz motor) and installed a megan racing downpipe and a greddy catback exhaust. I have a bone stock 03 gt. We raced from a stop for a little over a quarter mile.I immediatly pulled on him and put about 3 lengths on him before we shut it down.Tomorrow I think we will be going from a 25 mile per hour roll. I'll let you guys know how that turns out. I know it's not much of a story, but hey, i'm still proud of my car

I'd believe it. I surprised some people in my old stock IS300, but it wasn't really fast at all haha. Watch out for the modded / turbocharged ones though, there are a bunch of them out there! A guy I knew's IS looked bone stock down to the wheels and it put down 750+rwhp on the dyno!

Yeah, the is definatly is no slouch. He took me for a ride on the highway and punched it and Iwas surprised athow fast it was for how little he has done to it. But it is a little slow off the line, with only 218 lb-ft compared to my 302 lb-ft

Yea, I raced one with my modded 2001 Saturn SL-2, stayed even till about 70MPH, when he started pulling away...
We got caught by a light, and he begged me to pull over, but I didn't...
In all fairness, I got a bit of a jump on him from 0-30mph, but I thought he should have done better...
Must have been an early auto trans model.
