No, the entire drivetrain and suspension was built. It was originally an A/T and he did a built 5 or 6 speed swap, I can't remember which. It was lowered on some kind of coilovers, but not slammed so it still looked stockish. The craziest thing was that he had a custom wheel builder slice the stock 17" rear wheels in half and widened to from 7" to 9"!!. If you knew a lot about IS's you could tell something was up by how wide his rear wheels were (and the hood had a slight bulge to it near the windshield as it had to be remounted to allow the gigantic turbo and engine to release some heat ). Lemme see if I can dig up a pic. The car is in Russia now, he sold it because he lost his license due to speeding hahah

wow a whole post about me!! haha thanks Blake! yeah not gonna lie i love them damn mustang gts, minus the solid axel of course. ; ) but yeah well see how the 25 roll goes, considering the highway didnt fend to well for you. oh and thanks for the kind words of the is.....didnt think a mustang forum would take to well to "ricer" as i guess some would consider it.

Haha yea, Mark's car was sickk... he sold it to someone in Russia and now it's getting thrashed apart there. He found some videos of it on YouTube hahah. Everyone here is generally really cool with imports, we're a mixed bag here in terms of cars owned in the S/S section, so feel at home

PS - I miss my IS Some ******** ran a light and totalled mine. I just sold off my WALD sideskirts yesterday, they were the last parts I had left for it other than a rubbed up engine cover.

 

oh **** man that really sucks, ive been looking for a new front, and was considering the wald. long story short, when i was at my parents house my mom felt the need to move my car and she slammed it into the garage wall pinning up her harley and putting the footpeg through the bumper and then as she backed off it fell onto the hood. I WAS SO HAPPY THAT DAY! but yeah i really love that damn car. i suppose i should make myself a real account instead of posting on blakes haha. thanks

 

Ahh haha yea too bad! I sold my WALD replica lip unpainted recently for I think $90 and the sideskirts for $125 shipped. They were just laying around my garage taking up space.
