Default 1600hp Viper!

Yea, I know. Isn't a stang, isn't a story about me racing. Just thought everyone here might appreciate it since the story has stang roots.
All I can say is Wow!! I have a buddy with a 92LX that has twin turbos, and he tells me all the time that superchargers are for people that want to sound like they have horsepower but are afraid to really have horsepower. Guess this article kind of backs that up.

say that to cobra owners with KBs pushing 700. getting that power right from the getgo instead of waiting for their HP.

I don't think a 1.36 second 60 foot time is waiting around all day for his power.
The buddy of mine that has the turbo charged LX is making over 500rwtq at 3000 RPM. Once again, not waiting around all day for the power by any means.

who said anything about waiting all day? i said you don't have to wait. you get to spin your wheels and lose traction much faster with a KB since you get it all right away.

i think what you really meant in this post was, superchargers are for people who want a lot of horsepower, but don't want to spend the money on a turbo. if you were willing to pay for the turbo + install, i would LOVE to get one. i have to do it the poor man's way i'm afraid and get a blower.
