Sweet ride and nice race. In 87 I looked the GN and a Fox.......bought my first StangGT in 87 instead of the GN cause I could get a standard......sacrificed speed for fun at that time. [8D]
Yea, you don't see too many Grannies out there anymore. I always liked them, too.
A buddy of mine has one on Weld Drag-Lites that runs 10s with a/c and power steering. It is a beautiful thing. It's been out of commission for a few months because he blew a head gasket the last time he was out on the track; but he swears it's coming back stronger than ever!
He does refuse to say what he is doing to it, now. I can only imagine..........he's gonna need a parachute if he keeps it up!
As far as the OP; you got a GN and a Stang and this was your first street race? HA! One you do it once, you're hooked. Something tells me you will be posting here a lot more often, now......
