Honorable death. A H/C LT1 isn't exactly a slow car. Have any idea on how big of a cam he's running?

the description kind of gets into it (on streetfire).

Hes got ported heads (stage 3 by some company), Cam, 4.10, larger TB/intake, forged bottom. I dont know if the pistons are any different than stock for different compression or anything..i just know its forged.

I wouldn't feel bad if I were you. Heads & Cam LT1's can put up big numbers. I put down 421/406 on the motor with a 230/244 cam and very mild ported heads.

Still impressive for a bolt-on 2-valve w/a small 100-shot IMO.

I dont feel bad at all. Hes a friend of mine and had just bought the car and wanted to see how it would do.

Coincidentally he built the car, but the guy he did it for hit a peice of metal in the road and insurance totalled it out so the current owner bought it from him for 2500$ and fixed the k-member and oil pan and voila...2500$ 12 second car.
