Good point, especially since you consider your car a low 12 second car. The GT has 40 more bhp and a bigger shot. It must be an 11 second car for sure, right?

If a s197 truly runs a 12.99 with an intake and canned tune then an 11.99 on a 125 shot and track tires shouldnt be any problem.

Yeah that was us. We were coming back from a stang show in southern WA and I was the third stang in line. The Mach pulled up next to the M3 and they ran (I couldn't really see it). Right after, the guy in the mach called me and said I should run the M3 cause he was pretty quick. I pulled up and ran a short little run with just me and the bimmer (a little bit of traffic) and pulled on him. The last run we went with me, the M3 and the mach. Some good runs. And the guy in the bmw was a cool guy. He actually joined our club forum (decals on our stangs) to ask about our mods.

I honestly dont remember seeing that wing on his car. I think his car actually looked really clean.

Bickety, I haven't had a chance to get to a track yet so I dont know what it will run. But my guess is if you're running 11.7's I wont dip under a 12.2.

You probably won't be doing that well running the tires/rims that you have now. Take it from someone who tried to take 400+rwhp to the track minus DR's.[:@]
