Ok, here's what I don't understand. Why is eveyone so sure the GT will win? The two cars are within 100-200lbs of eachother, both have 300+hp, and both have very similar 1/4 times and speeds.

I'm not trying to start anything, but I think this race could go either was VERY easily.
They aren't within 100-200lbs...they weigh the same thing.
Also, they are not even within .5 seconds of the same average track times.

With 2/3 of your statement mis-quoted, and the fact this is a Mustang forum, there is no need for me to explain now why it's the Mustang's race to lose.

(Area under the curve > peak number)

Yeah now that i remember it does have the X badge....sorry.. So he does have all wheel drive. We both have 20" chrome wheels, but his are 3 piece lightwwheight and mine are heavy!!( He spent $5000 for his versus my $1500, mine look better hehe) i guess i will have to practive my launch to make sure i do not spin. I think we will race from 0 mph and then from maybe 40. I think i will launch at like 3000 rpm

will all your respect but 350z or G35/G37 are not meant to have Muscular Exhaust tone. In my personal opinion i think they sound bad@ss

I prefer my quick cars to sound muscular, not like a gas powered RC [8D]

I just raced one today. We were at a light and he takes off. I was like DA**. As I started catching up to him he hits his brakes and make's a quick turn off the main road. They are preety fast off the line no doubt. You should beat him though.

I would guess 2V 4.6 form the 70MM T.B/Plenum in his sig.

I might even bet NPI b/c he used a 70MM T.B not a 75MM. That of course, is just speculation.
