they did, its called the sc350. most people would rather just spend all that money on the supra though....

You're close.

It was called the SC300.
There was also an SC400, but it had a V8...and most people prefered the inline 6 of the SC300.

Lots of guys that go for the sleeper look are doing 2JZ-GTE swaps into the Lexus, and pushing stupid high hp, but still looking like a luxury car.

eh, off by 50 is close enough for me i actually did know about the 300, i just could have sworn they made a 350 as well. but i guess not
i thought the sc300 came stock with a 2jz. i know a few kids who in no way have the money for a whole swap running those cars. are they just another turbo from the factory?

On the one hand, I agree...the Fast and Furious/Supra nutswingers are annoying as fvck...and if another kid asks me "does that have a 2JZ in it?"....I'm gonna clock him.

On the other hand...that movie is partially responsible for the crazy-high resale value of my 15-year old car...so I can't really complain.

supra look nice, but they would look better with a SBF in it.

It was called the SC300 cuz it was a 3.0L inline six...respectively, the SC400 was a 4.0L V8.

The SC300 came with the normally aspirated inline 6, same as the NA Supra.
They didn't make a boosted SC300 from the factory, although maybe they should have!
The NA block (2JZ-GE) doesn't have the same build as the boosted engine out of the TT Supra (2JZ-GTE), which is why a lot of SC300 owners tend to swap in the GTE block....
More boost and hp.

pffft check the videos i posted son...5.30's in the 1/8 on it's rear tires...im just trying to make it more reliable....something that comes to mind, will a SBC head reseal if it's lifted under pressure? a SBF will

here's a question for you boosted, how does the TT setup work with an inline block...the guys around here won't even let me around their cars :| to see
