Default Roush 427R

Seen this car twice now, and every time is was in traffic (stupid HRBT). What do these normally run in the 1/4? Just curious, seen some times online but it seems very slow for a car with 427hp (flywheel) (13.1-13.5ish), do the Roushs weigh more than the regular GT or something?

EDIT: No bench racing here, just curious. Also kind of hoping the guy who owns it is on here... (Hampton Roads area)

Why does that seam slow? A GT500 has 500HP and runs 12.8s.

Because seeing as it weighs a lot less than my SRT8 it should pull faster times? (The traps / ETs are very similar to stock SRT8 numbers), plus it has a better suspension than a regular S197 so it should be able to get the HP down to the ground better.

Ah well, hopefully I run into him and I can run him / talk to him afterwards. Looked like a nice ride.

Edit: Also, seeing as the S197 with a CAI / Tune around here are pulling similar times I thought it'd be low 12s or so. Just a bit surprised is all.

No one has any experience with these? Seen them run @ the track in person? Just a bit curious is all, I don't trust the rag ratings / times on these things and don't put much faith in dragtimes either. They have to be faster than that, or not.

Either way cool looking car.

Edit: Oops, it's not a 427R, just a regular Roush 427... D'oh. Edit to the edit: Guess it is, looks like this one http://www.allfordmustangs.com/artic...le_00738.shtml. Was the same color and all.

the GT500 whoops the roush on a straight, but the roush is far superior in everything else, especially around the track, just overall a better sports car (and Im talking about stock suspension on the GT500)
