Bluebeast, he was joking. And he sucks at it. Doodad is a real guy who many of us have really met and who drives really well.
Anyhoo, I have seen many 3 valve GTs run in person and out of the box they have all been slow. Is there something about the St. Louis region that makes them move out not so well? I have not observed any of these impressive times myself, not without a power adder. Not calling BS at all, just sayin'...

Atleast someone knows who james fraanco is.
Anyway, 99.99% of s197s run mediocre times for having 40 more HP and a steeper gear.
Ive watched ones with just exhaust run 9 flats all day at the track and one with a saleen s/c run 8.8s hahahaha

I know. I'm not to fond of his attitude and trash talking.
Just because YOU personally do not see them with your own two eyes, does NOT mean THEY cannot do it. There are other people that have their own eyes, that witness these things. Doodad posted proof of his runs. Gene K posted proof of his run. You are the prime example as to why the New Edge GT owners look like a$$hats when they put down the 3V. Get over it. Try showing some sincerity in threads like these, otherwise the rest of MF will think the same thing about you as we do.

Make sure you get good shots of the tires, the engine, the rear end, to check for gears, exhaust tips, etc.
