You should be a LOW 11 sec car. Unless this whole thing is completely BS. Which, from your replys might be such. A force inducted 98 GT??? if you truly beat him by 6-7 cars that should put you well into the 11's.

yeah im not saying you BS'ing either , but you think you can be in the 12.5's. i have a 98 Gt with simple bolt ons im making 222 RWHP. a gt with some boost making almost 400HP. How much boost? Normally 98 Gt with S/c and 6-8 psi will make around 300 RWHP. And if he really did have 390 hp and you spanked him by 6 cars! lol. Then god yeah youre in the 11's!!! track that bish!

 

i think you're kinda exagerrating the whole 15 cars thing, unless he just gave up after you got like 5 cars ahead and you just kept pullin. like it was also said, 97 and 03 cobras are totally different. nice kill though. those tsi's have some snot in them. not the most reliable car from what i've read though. be nice as a commuter car in winter, AWD for the win!

 

only 430?

at our stang club dyno day, i saw an 03 dyno at 400RWHP with just catback. they put a K&N filter in there (not intake, just the filter) and it dyno'd at 420RWHP the second run. 420 with just a catback and filter. they looked to see if he was at least chipped. no chip or nothin. there was a KB snake there putting down 615(something like that). those snakes are freaks!

 

No way, maybe at sea level, but not up here. Sorry, Im so used to track times up here at Bandimere, I keep forgetting you guys are closer to sea level. No BS, I have seen stock 03-04 Cobras at Bandimere run 13.9s, 13.8s. And they were all good drivers. Its horrible. We loose so much up here, even boosted cars. When I raced the GT, I was about 7 cars in front of him at about 115mph. Plus, we did a 5mph roll. We both spun through 3 gears, Im FWD. [:'(] I know, it sucks. But eventually I will go after the fastest FWD DSM in CO. Sorry, I didnt want to sound like I was talking a bunch of BS. I don't know, I think down in Texas or something I would break into the 11s on street tires. But, I have a little while to go before I hit 11s up here. Thanks though! Whats all done to your Cobra?

 

Yeah, the Talon breaks down constantly. It sucks. The Cobra that I raced, the guy said he didnt shut down until he hit 90. That could be the case, but both times we raced, it was the same. I dont want you guys to think Im pullin' **** out of my *** here. At first, I was thinking like you. I thought he had shut down early, but he said he didnt, both times.

As far as that 03-04 Cobra on the dyno, yeah, he had a 2.8" pulley, catback, and the whole K&N intake, and the predator. We all loose a lot of whp up here. Im sure if he were to go get dynoed in Dallas, or something, he would hit a lot more.

I have not had the luxury of seeing a KB Cobra in person yet...but I really want to. Ever since I saw the Mustang Majic Vid, I fell in love with a blower...a Kenne Bell perhaps?

Yeah, he has the D1 and kit (Intercooler, FMU, etc), Riechkart Intake mani, BBK TB, bigger Maf, 42lb injectors, Diablo, 3" Mac catback, 3:73s. I seriously dont think I can hit 11s up here. Maybe at sea level...but no way up here. Thanks though. Are you going to boost yours? He is one of my really good friends. He was telling me that when he did the Intake manifold, it was freakin' awesome. It made so much difference. B**** is expensive as hell! Anyway, whats all done to yours?

 

What's you car weigh??? 2800-3000lbs???
A simple calculator sys you should be 11.4 w/ that kinda hp.
