I love (actually hate) when people us that line. Do you think the guy in the M6 cares that he spent more money to buy his car? I assure you, he does not. People who buy cars like that live on a whole 'nother scale than you and I. They spend $100 bills like we spend $10's. And lets say you did mod your Mustang to be able to take him, my bet is that he still would not care, because he is still driving BMW M6 and you are still driving a Mustang.

I am not going to lie I would prefer to have a M6 over a Mustang. Actually I think a new M5 would be more fun because it looks like a family sedan and you can say BYE BYE vette.

i raced a vert a couple weeks ago....guy could drive

on motor with no tune from a 40 roll to ~105 i lost by a half a car

guy was suprised he asked me if i had a blower and i said nope just bolt on's

ok i m tired of the bmw,
tonight ,i came at the red light with a bmw m3 ,he took me too not by much probably a car,
i pulled up and he say it s got a 6 speed but it sounded very sweet almost like a supercharger.
he also say his son got a saleen and got 500 hp and takes him all the time.
Should of bought a saleen LOL
i look at the specs and we had the same torque but he s got 334hp vs my 270hp
i guess that s that.

but to the race at hand, haha - you already knew he was playing with you.. but to give you an idea about how fast those cars really are... is I beat one in my 03' ported Cobra in a pretty good race... he was at my back quarter panel until I hit 3rd gear, then I started leaving him (about a car and a half) but once we hit 100 he started gaining QUICKLY... I shut down around 120 on the highway with him at my rear quarter panel again.. if we go to 150ish, I think he passes me, but once he got to my rear quarter panel.. he pretty much stopped gaining...

We ended up starting in 2nd gear as he followed me on the on ramp, but we also did go from a dig earlier in teh drive.. we had lined up about a 1/2 mile earlier at a light, and I was winning by the same (rear quarter panel) when I shut down around 3rd gear again, due to being not in a great place to race...

but for those that don't know my Cobra.. I had a Ported Eaton 03' Cobra with 315 Nitto Drags.

So yes, they are damn fast cars. and I would rock the hell outta it...
