Default racing battle

so i was on the way home and next to me pull up a 2009 bmw m6
here is the specifications, seems pretty sweet and i kept up with him.pretty much side by side from the start.
http://www.automobilemag.com/am/2006...fications.html
here are is stats from looking it s 400 lbs heavier but i let you look.
the thing that got me is the
92 mm bore, 75.2 mm stroke 12:1 compression

versus my gt

91.4mm bore x 91.4mm stoke 9.4:1 compression

i see it s got dual overhead cams like the cobra
but what s this??
variable valve timing/camshaft
anyways i like someone to help me with the bore stroke and compression
bec i read in the dictionary and i understand but what s does it means in normal language LMAO

my mods are bbk cold air intake, flowmasters mufflers and mandrel pipes
so was he playing with me or i kept up with it.
because he punch it i hear it when he shifts the gears

thanks guys
should of bought a cobra LOL

I'm guessing it spanked you pretty good. //M badges are not to be taken lightly.

Variable valve timing means that it advances or retards the camshaft position depending on the rpm with a BMW its called VANOS. That basically mean the car is making as much hp/tq as possible with that camshaft at any given time, within reason. (that probablly wont help you much)

Bore is how big the piston is stroke is how far the piston moves up and down.

Compression ratio is just how much pressure the a/f mixture is compressed before it is ignited.

Lets just say he was playing with you. He would leave you in the dust.....

"92 mm bore, 75.2 mm stroke 12:1 compression

He has 10 cylinders and 92mm bore x 75.2mm stroke x10 cylinders you have 91.44mm bore x 91.4mm stroker x 8 cylinders. He is at 500 horsepower you are at 260 hp. His torque is about 80+ more ft. pounds than you. Lets just say he is taking it easy on you. My friend has an M5 with a V-10 and the 7 speed trans and that thing is ridiculous fast.

yes you right deconfire i understand that s what i figure he was playing with me but it was a lot of fun tho.
and he was a good sport tho, but he did not leave me.
so how do you change the stoke and bore and compression for the mustang.
maybe a cobra could of took him right?
is that s forged pistons or stage 1 cams like you got.
i m just trying to understand
thanks guys

Compression ration has nothing to do with the a/f mixture. It is the ratio between the volume of the cylinder and combustion chamber when the piston is at the bottom of its stroke, and the volume of the combustion chamber when the piston is at the top of its stroke.

i had a good run with a 335i, twin turbo if you didnt know. he had a dinan stg 3 program, i/c upgrade, dinan exhaust, performance intake, and a couple of other dianan parts. we ran from 50-140, i pulled him from 120 up. very fast car though and pricey (obviously.)

LOL, he probablly paid about 10 times what you paid for your car if he bought it new.

Also I know that the compression ratio has nothing to do with the a/f mixture. All I was trying to say it in a way that would be easier for him to understand.

I'm curious how you came to this conclusion. I'm not asking because I obviously own a Cobra, but just out of curiosity. Can you tell me what makes you think the M3 is > Terminator.

OP- Yes, the M6 was messing with you. They would blow your doors off. Very fast cars.
